The Pay with Sushi team envisions a new way to pay - by replacing cash payments with payment in goods and services. Part mobile commerce platform and part social network, Pay with Sushi hopes to bring fresh energy to the oldest form of currency.
I was the co-founder of a 4-person team. As the head of product, I lead design from from the earliest whiteboard sketches to full POC launch. I interviewed hundreds of business owners, assembled a small engineering team, and delivered a mobile web app that proved market fit and ability to scale. As a result, we secured seed financing from A-list investors, including Rob Lissner (Facebook).
